Jessica Lee Sheppard is a multi-award-winning Canadian author, social worker, and mother of four. She writes YA supernatural fantasy with strong female leads, blending real-life social work themes with magic, darkness, and emotional depth.
When she’s not writing, Jessica enjoys reading, spending time with her kids, learning new things—and drinking more coffee than she probably should.
Jessica started reading at age four when her father introduced her to Archie Comics. Before she could read the words, she would invent her own dialogue for the characters. As she got older, her interest shifted to supernatural stories, and she now counts Kelley Armstrong, Charlaine Harris, J.K. Rowling, and Cassandra Clare as her favourite authors.
